Week 6 Part A: Engaging Your Customers - FaceBook Strategy

I choose 7 business that are directly related to what I do daily. I liked all of them. Making connections with others is a great way to build a social media page.  I am not following Fully Promoted in Temecula, Screen Printing Q&A, Screen Printing + Sublimation + DTF + DTG, Fernando Screen Printing in Garden Groove, MH Custom Printing in Oceanside, Print Lab in Hollywood, and Imprint Revolution in Los Angeles.  It was great to see what others in the industry do to promote their business's on Facebook and to see how they draw in views with content. From showing how the process works to showing the finished product, whoever is reaching out to the page has several things to look at. All the posts were well written and had pictures. All of them had comments and likes from customer's and viewers. I saw happy birthday posts with lots of comments. I saw a cute family on vacation with matching shirts with the post reading, family vacation shirts. matching shirts are very popular a

Week 5 Part B: Learning about FaceBook Data Collecting

Hello - Here is my real business Facebook  https://www.facebook.com/lambscreenprinting Post reach and post encourage are important. Post reach will intrigue someone who is viewing the site and not necessarily a follower. That person can become a followers and your base can grow. The followers that you already have can like and comment making more content for viewers to enjoy.  I have followers, likes, posts, and comments over the years. Nothing ongoing or catchy which is what I want to change. I want to have more followers and contact for viewers. I want people to notice what we do and think of Lamb Screen Printing when they need anything screen printed. We have spend the decade being word of mouth but I want social media to produce more work for us to strive even more.   I liked and followed all the classmates Facebook. It's great how creative everyone is and to see the real businesses is awesome! I posted on Encinas Donuts commenting on a questions they posted. Encinitas posted

Week 4 Post 2:

It's hard to say what my target market is. Any customer is my target. From a huge conventions to local churches summer camp. I enjoy every customer. Lamb Screen Printing is and has been word of mouth for 34 years. Some of our jobs/orders are large and some are very small. Some more time consuming than others. If I had one specific target it would be easy to market that but we don't really. My goal is to gain one more satisfied customer which could lead into a long term relationship for their screen printing needs. It's all about good relationships .

Week 4 Post 1

Subway and Hungry Bear have a very similar webpages. The first thing you see is a sub sandwich and the words order online. The pictures in both are well lit and font is bold. Everything is clear and well labeled.  Subway has a very wide range of audience, all across the world this site can be seen by its customers where Hungry Bear is located in Vista and the only one trafficking their site is someone in North County looking to go get lunch or dinner.  When you click on subways "order now" the first thing that comes up is a map of the world. You put in your zip code and it narrows to about a dozen close by, you then choose pick up or delivery. after those steps the menu is brought up and you choose what you would like. The ordering process is guided by pictures or the bread, mayo, mustard, meat, cheese, and condiments all individual pictures.  Where when you click "order now" on Hungry Bears website, it goes directly to the menu options. The menu drop down is a box

Week 3 Part B: Developing a Brand

Image
The brand formed about 10 years ago, putting colors together showing off as ink colors. Colorful way to catch the eye. It stands out and is tilted oh so slightly to the eye. Even though we have changed our emails and website to lambca now, the name Lamb Screen Printing is still the long levity name of the business. We figured lambca was easy to remember and type when emailing. Saying @lambca.com was easier than the old @lambscreenprinting.com  When Lamb Screen Printing begun there was not one computer. It was a typewriter, paper and pencil everyday. My mom took orders over the phone and called into vendors to purchase product. It has evolved into quite a production 34 years later. The brand and the first look a customer has at the business is priceless. From how fast the sites loads to business hours. Everything is important.

Week 3 Part A: Aesthetics, Design, and Branding

Well done:   https://www.apple.com/ Apple website is a fun site to visit. The design is catchy and the pictures are clear and right sized. The site never glitches. It's easy to use and you always leave happy. It's simple and clean. When on the site you either bought something or thinking about buying something.  https://tailsuppup.com/ Tails up Pup is a great site. Very well put together. With tabs of exactly what they offer. Who doesn't love seeing all the dogs happy faces. Lots of time a coupon flashes to use. There are collections of patterns to entice the buyer to buy more. Offers a ton, lots of options. Easy to use. Nice try: https://lambca.com/ Lamb Screen Printing website takes forever to load, it drags on for seconds before even seeing the name. It is all informational only. People want what to know what they can get and how much it is.  https://best-electronics-ca.com/ Best Electronics has a site full of big words. Not sure how to take it all in when looking at the

Week 2 Part A: Communication Between Business & Consumer

I think communication between business and consumers though reviews has become easier and easier. It is now common to leave a Yelp or Google review after leaving a new restaurant or event. It is very generous of a consumer to take the time to leave a positive review. So many times the reviews that get pilled up are negative ones. People are quick to go onto Yelp or Google when they have a bad thought about the business. It's been nice to see the trend of leaving positive reviews.  The first review my son has every left on Yelp was one for a Chinese restaurant we had visited several times in the past but on this occasion the waiter left a positive impact on my son and he wanted others to know. It was nice to get a response back from the restaurant saying, "Thank you." It meant a lot that the positive reviews was noticed and recognized.  When I read reviews I also notice first the overall review rate. Weather its almost 5 stars meaning a few people left a negative review b

Week 1B: Social Media Use Today

Social media today has sky rocketed with being the normal use for everyday life. We use social media to check important and non important aspects of life. The way business use it to drum up more business to the soccer mom checking in at Starbucks for her morning coffee. It would be safe to say that it's a high percentage of the people check a social media app first before getting out of bed.       Social medias' influence on what and how we do things is incredible. When I see someone post that a new place to eat was great, makes me what to try that place to eat. When someone is at the beach and the waves looks pretty I plan a trip to the beach. Social media can guild us in what and how we do things. It allows other peoples options and outlook on life to influence the reader.      Some youngsters cannot image a would without social media. How many likes they receive on a post consumes them from day to day. How many more follows something has gained them. Who sees what and who c
